Prom Guidelines
1.Prom is a school sponsored event and not a dancing club. Please understand you WILL be asked to leave if you cannot dance appropriately. If you cannot follow this rule, do not come.
2. LADIES—NO LOW CUT, TWO-PIECE, SEE THROUGH, BARE-MIDRIFF, OR EXCESSIVELY REVEALING
DRESSES WILL BE ALLOWED. If you think your dress is in violation of this dress code, please bring a picture
with you wearing the dress to an administrator’s office. Students in violation of this WILL be asked to leave.
Please do not make us send you home from this special event because of your dress.
3. GENTLEMEN—JACKETS AND TIES ARE REQUIRED. Shirts must be worn at all times.
4. No jeans allowed.
5. No glow sticks or open containers of any kind will be allowed.
6. This is a school sponsored event; therefore, ALL GCPS AND GRAYSON HIGH SCHOOL RULES APPLY.
7. Students must be present for half the school day on Friday, April 15, 2011 in order to be able to attend the Prom on Saturday, April 16, 2011.
8. Grayson High School students who are planning to bring a date that does not attend Grayson High School to the dance are responsible for sharing this information with their date.
9. Students who are suspended or expelled during this time are not allowed to attend any GCPS school function, including Prom.
